VSAT

Tachyon provides complete VSAT equipment including the satellite dish, mount, Low Noise Block down-converter (LNB) and boom/feed assembly. Tachyon deploys only the most reliable equipment, regardless of manufacturer, to suit the unique wideband SATCOM needs of each customer.

Fixed VSAT

Tachyon's Fixed Terminals are designed for use at permanent or long-term remote locations and operate with all Tachyon modems. Fixed Terminals can be mounted on a roof or any other permanent, stable location. , standard and custom, penetrating and non-penetrating mounts can be used to position the high-performance antenna, radio, LNB and cabling.

Tachyon has also developed an innovative quick-release "Hurricane Mount," which enables untrained personnel to quickly detach the reflector dish, radio and LNB. In the event of an impending storm, the RF equipment can be removed and safely stored; and then easily returned to its original position when the adverse weather condition clears.

Transportable VSAT

Tachyon's transportable terminals enable rapid connectivity for temporary, mobile or emergency needs. Our easily deployable VSAT systems are ideal for rapid response situations.

Quick Deploy Terminals
Tachyon's Quick Deploy Terminals deliver transportable broadband network access for field offices, backup connectivity, emergency response teams and special events. The units are rugged, lightweight and built to withstand the wear and tear of personnel on the move. The standard rack mount profile integrates with most commercially-available transit cases, thus transforming the Quick Deploy terminal into a portable remote communications office.

Auto Deploy Terminals
The Auto Deploy terminal is a compact and flexible option that is both easy to transport and easy to use. The flyaway VSAT unit is completely plug-and-play, with a setup time of ten minutes or less and does not require specialized technical training or dedicated personnel to operate. Superior pointing technology ensures maximum accuracy with a smaller antenna profile.

The compact Auto Deploy terminal is also rugged enough for temporary sites, events, emergency connectivity and mobile applications. The Auto Deploy Terminal will function with any Tachyon modem, including Tachyon's ruggedized RMG Series modem to create an instant portable enterprise network.
